Treatment Overview

Shading, also known as a powder brows or ombre is an excellent choice for those who are looking for an enhancement in a traditional make up style with semi- permanent results.

During the treatment I use a digital machine which helps to introduce the pigment into upper layers of the skin in a pixelated manner offering a sleek, powdered result.

Eyes and Brows

This technique offers a wide choice of intensity from a gradient, very soft and subtle to more pronounced final look. I advocate for the eyebrows harmonising with your ethnicity and facial features but also reflecting your personality.

Shading can be combined with Microbladed hairstrokes in a Combo Brows offering the best of both; naturalness of Microblading and enhanced intensity of Shading.

Shading is a great option for people who...

Value a traditional make up look and search for long lasting effect

Want to save time on their daily makeup routine

Have uneven or sparse eyebrows

Have oily skin and seek eyebrow enhancement technique offering the longest longevity for their skin type

Search for a correction of eyebrows done elsewhere

This treatment is suitable for both women and men, complementing your facial features for a polished, effortless look.

Shading lasts about 1 - 3.5 years. The longevity depends on many factors like skin condition, client's lifestyle choices, medical history and more. In general, more mature and dryer skin types tend to hold the pigment longer than younger and more oily ones.

The treatment is split into two sessions: the initial one and a top-up 6 weeks later. After that, touch-up appointments are typically recommended every 12-18 months to maintain the desired, fresh look. Without subsequent touch-up appointments, shading will gradually and evenly fade until it disappears.

Great eyebrows start with a consultation

Your journey towards your dream eyebrows start with a consultation and a patch test done at least 48hrs before the treatment.

Your safety and comfort are my top priorities, so we begin by discussing your medical history and analysing your skin to confirm you're suitable for microblading. This is also an opportunity for you to address any questions, ensuring you make an informed decision about your treatment. I'll also perform a patch test for the pigment and numbing cream used during the microblading procedure to rule out any allergies.

A Collaborative Process

My consultation process is very collaborative - it’s a time we can explore and tailor together an exclusive eyebrow shape that has the most flattering effect on you. Your ethnicity, style, taste, make up preferences, hair and self-expression inclinations will be the basis for our conversation. Some of my clients will come with a good notion of their desired eyebrows, while others prefer to rely on my aesthetic eye. Both options are completely fine. I will set aside ample time to discuss your eyebrow goals, clarifying all your doubts and informing you about pre and post treatment care.
